Top Producing Agent Recruit to BHS from Eklund Gomes Team
Dual Licensed in both Miami and NYC

You made the move to BHS this week after some courting from our firm, why did you make the move?

I've been with a boutique firm at Douglas Elliman. BHS won me over with their larger scale, yet boutique atmosphere. I really admire that this is a privately-owned business creating true team culture with growth potential.

Operating in both NYC and Miami, where are the best values right now in each market? Property type, neighborhood, building, etc?

There's significant opportunity in both markets. Miami has ample new developments in the pipeline that will bring the next level of luxury to the market. New York is a very tight market right now. Cash buyers are really driving a majority of the transactions. There are diamonds to be found in off-market opportunities, in every building & neighborhood. As we move through 2025 and into early 2026, I anticipate the market will continue to strengthen.

Tell us a little about the new development project that you will be working on and bringing to market.

I've been working closely with the developer, designer, and builder to create something extraordinary. A boutique 54-residence waterfront condominium doorman building in one of the BEST locations in Miami. BHS brokers will be invited to sneak-peek pre-market presentations prior to launch. I just led sales on the successful sell-out of 64 University in NYC, at full-ask with no concessions. This building will appeal to the same discerning buyer seeking a health and wellness retreat in sunny South Florida.

You have nearly 27,000 followers on instagram @ellisbachman, to those looking to up their game in social media content creation, do you have any advice?

Be your authentic self. People want to see all facets of who you are as a person and relate to you. I pride myself in my followers representing a diverse demographic.

Where in NYC and Miami do you go to celebrate a huge closing and what do you order?

In NYC I love to celebrate a big deal or treat clients to Manhatta, a big picture reminder of how fabulous the city is with great views and outstanding menu. Oysters, scallops, lobster, octopus, tuna and everything seafood is a must! Klaw is a favorite in Miami with an incredible dining experience featuring superb seafood selections. The restaurant is located at the Miami Women's Club national historic landmark building with a great atmosphere and excellent service.

I am an early bird by nature and wake up at 5:00 a.m. for personal training at Equinox. Many of my ideas flow early in the AM, along with work emails!

Share a photo that means a lot to you and tell us why.

My husband Peter and I will celebrate our seven year anniversary on March 1st. We eloped in the "Gulf of America" three years ago and sailed into the sunset.

Share one of your goals in 2025 that you aim to accomplish.

I just closed on a once-in-a-lifetime dream home in NYC overlooking Washington Square Park with two private terraces. The prior owner lived in the residence for 50 years. I was fortunate to find the property off-market via a broker colleague. The home needs a full gut renovation which I am seeking to complete within three months! This is a major goal for me. Fortunately, I have the best contractor in NYC, Barbara, and aim to make my first NYC renovation quite magical. Look forward to having my new BHS family over for housewarming as we dominate 2025 and make many new friends and connections along the way.
