Brian: I have always been inspired and supported by Hall Willkie – he is not only the consummate professional, he is a remarkable human.
Christopher: I go where Brian goes! We have always felt supported here at BHS. The leadership of Bess and Hall combined with the outstanding marketing team (Christian Herman is our secret weapon), PR, and the support staff help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. We also feel very aligned with the BHS values and brand.
The “R” word (relationships) has always been, for us, the key to whatever success we have been able to achieve. Nurturing relationships with customers and clients, of course, is paramount but relationships with other brokers and the real estate community at large is critical, as well.
Superior and unique properties at the ultra-high-end of the market will continue to see activity. We anticipate discretionary purchases in the rest of the market to be less active. Having said that, housing is a necessity – not a luxury. People will always need a home. Pricing tight to the market will remain critical on the sell side.
When we’re not having baked tagliolini at Harry Cipriani, we love poached eggs and bacon at Gracie’s Diner on 85th St and Second Ave.
Mountains, mountains, mountains! (and NO humidity!)
Brian: Chris – someone’s got to do the work. :-)
Christopher: My cousin, Chuck. He’s an FBI agent and a real-life Jason Bourne. He’s on my speed dial.
Brian: I’ve seen four popes (Paul VI, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis)
Christopher: I was a B-52H bomber pilot in the United States Air Force and also in the Pentagon on 9-11.
Brian: Recently featured on Suebelle’s Instagram page @suebelle. We were amazed that it had 10,000 views in the first three hours.
Christopher: Easter Brunch at The University Club with so many people we love. One of our favorite traditions.
